Favourite Song on Album:

Listen to This Album When You’re:

Angry at the government, which is a really easy place to find yourself nowadays.

Thoughts on Album Cover:

It fits their style really well, besides The Battle of Los Angeles cover, it’s probably my favourite cover of theirs.

Want to Own on Vinyl?:

No thanks.

Final Thoughts:

Rage Against the Machine’s self titled debut is both iconic and influential. But it is not an overly re-listenable album. It’s good stuff to a point. Don’t get me wrong I like Rage a lot, but this first album is really a growing pains album, still trying to find their voice. Sometimes overly repetitive, other times a bit too preachy for my liking, it’s interesting to see where they started, but I’d probably stick with their later albums.
